Rhythms Home Care Provides Grocery Help for At-Risk Individuals

Community Life

Posted: April 6, 2020

Older adults and those with underlying health conditions are more susceptible to COVID-19. To address this concern, some Colorado grocery stores have instituted special shopping hours for seniors and other at-risk individuals. Panic shopping has left store shelves empty, often leaving at-risk groups including seniors without the food and other supplies they need.

Rhythms Home Care is helping clients by placing online orders, providing transportation to stores, and picking up orders at the store.

These stores are hosting special older adult shopping hours (as of 3/30/20, subject to change):

We are grateful to these stores for helping ensure vulnerable populations get what they need, yet there are still challenges – long lines to wait in, transportation issues and difficulties navigating online ordering.

Rhythms team members can help! We can provide transportation, help with grocery shopping, and even help with meal planning and preparation. We can also pick up prescriptions and provide transportation to appointments.

Rhythms Home Care has more than 24 years of experience supporting individuals and providing services to those living at home or in senior living communities. We are here to help during this important time.  Please call us at 303-757-2300 for additional information.
